My Name is Alice Byrd-Hanner, I am a RN, International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. I have work Obstetrics for over 15 years. Including L&D, nursery, Postpartum the neonatal ICU and lactation. I also teach a breastfeeding class for the local hospital as well.
I decided to start a business in Lactation because many mom's develop problems after discharge. So after lot's of follow up calls that revealed that several moms quit after a week or so. Most said they just didn't have the support. Other's just couldn't get back to the hospital for help. So I decided to do a mobile business to follow up with families and make house calls. It is a joy to see a mother's face when she learns the right techniques and breastfeeding becomes a natural joyful process.

Visits are based on travel time. The Starting fee is based in Arlington area and for every 5 miles outside of the area a $5 dollar fee is added. Consulting fee's are based on 1 hour and 1/2 for initial visit and 30 minutes to 1 hour for follow up visits.
